As the star-strewn sky stretches above, a witch and her young apprentice are out past their bedtimes to harvest a particular potion ingredient that only flowers at night.

After filling their basket full of foraged goodies; the witch, her apprentice and Aster the cat head home through the forest.
As they walk further, a strange wailing and gushing sound begins to echo around them, the noise getting unnervingly louder by the second...

The witches look up in fear!
The trees in front of them bow and out of the darkness a wailing fiend appears, a giant cloaked in storm clouds which rain down heavy droplets.
Aster makes a quick turn and dashes away to hide.

"I’m sorry if I scared you" said the giant as he sat down in front of the trio, water pooling about him. "These rain clouds have been haunting me for a month now and I can't get rid of them, it's driving me mad!"
"Oh you poor thing!" Replied the old witch. "I have my spell book with me... would you like me to try a banishment charm?"

The giant agrees to their help and watches hopefully as the witch, the apprentice and Aster the cat link hands and begin chanting the ancient magic words...
"Rain, rain go away let our friend the giant be dry today!"
The storm clouds twist and the rain starts to whirl away...

Instead of disappearing, the storm clouds cling to the trees now, lighting flashes dazzle their eyes and it rains down creating a small lake!
"Hmm..." The older witch muses. "That wasn't exactly what I meant to happen..."
"I'm freeeeeee!" Exclaims the giant happily. "And I have my very own lake now too! Thank you witches!"

Grateful for rescuing him from the storm clouds, the giant offers to give the trio a ride home.
Dawn peeks from the horizon as they leave the forest and the new friends enjoy sharing stories as they journey. To celebrate their new friendship, they plan to picnic by the Lighting Lake in the coming days.
